About me

What do you get when you combine a devotion to the true meaning of “love” and “joy” and a quest to make them both more accessible for others? My life’s work.
I am an award-winning presenter, soul coach, metaphysical minister, wellness educator and innovator with countless self-conceptualized wellness and spiritual programs under my belt. With more than 15 years experience as an international fitness educator, yoga therapist and soul coach—I’ve had many roles, but always one core purpose: to show others that love, joy and miracles are not only possible but a birthright you can attain.

But I had to become a miracle worker in my own life before I found my calling to do the same for others.

In 2005, I was in a deeply unfilling government job and addicted to cigarettes—it was becoming increasingly clear to me that something had to change. After some painful self-exploration and deep meditation, it was revealed to me in a moment of stillness that the only way out was to become a healthy non-smoker. That single yet supremely powerful action was the catalyst that opened up many doors for me—and a new, soul-replenishing career that eventually allowed me to share that gift with others, like you.

My first foray was in the health and fitness world as a personal trainer and then a group fitness and pilates instructor and yoga therapist. My passion took the wheel and before long, I was a Master Trainer, travelling the globe educating and certifying yoga teachers.

I went on to conceptualize and launch my Chakra Dance and Meditation program for various fitness organizations. I took it on the road to yoga studios, conferences and fitness facilities all over North America. I created my semi-eponymous pauLates program that was available at the largest fitness chain in Canada. I also launched a suite of mindfulness and meditation programs, including The Art of Stillness, 40 Days of Stillness, and ARISE, and expanded into facilitating and hosting local and international retreats focused on cultural and yoga-based experiences. The pinnacle of this phase was when I was awarded Specialty Presenter of the Year at canfitpro’s World Fitness Expo. But that was just the beginning.

As my journey progressed, my purpose became even more clear: I am here to serve others and help them also align their thinking with Love. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Metaphysical Science through the University Of Sedona and became a metaphysical minister. As a wedding officiant, bringing two people together in their devotion for each other elevated my soul’s purpose. I also began one-on-one soul coaching, blending modern sciences with ancient practices to help people optimize their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

What I’ve learned is that joy isn’t exclusive to happy times, it’s a core belief we need to tap into especially when life’s demands come calling. “We can either learn through joy or pain” is an oft-used mantra of mine and something I want to instill in you, so that you can step away from fear, pain and mental struggle and approach life through the lens of joy—even during tough times.

As an individual that makes the decision to embody love and joy on a daily basis, I’m never quite satisfied with the status quo. Stepping away from comfort and into new iterations of myself has taught me that that is the true essence of growth, self-development—and ultimately life.

Although the events of 2020 shook my life, as it did for the entire planet, I decided to challenge myself yet again and revisit what I first studied, journalism. Weaving it back into my life allowed me to stay sharp, challenge my mind, hone new crafts, and revisit old loves. After a short stint as the Commerce Content Editor for Outside, Inc (publisher of brands like Clean Eating, Yoga Journal, Backpacker, and more), I came back to where my heart feels at home, creating and facilitating experiences that help people accentuate their joy and live their best life.

Reinvention is the crux of our hearts and souls. We were never meant to sit stagnant, or reach a certain point and simply stop. But if you’re reading this, you may already know this ;). I look forward to helping you shape the joyful, loving life you are meant—and deserve—to live.
